Liptovska Mara - Only 40 minutes from Chalupa Ria

Liptovska Mara is a summer recreation centre, based around a dam on the river Váh, which was made from the flooding of 13 villages. Activities around the lake include surfing, yachting, windsurfing, water bicycles, miniature golf, fishing and sailing on the scenic boat "Liptov".

Orava Dam - Only 50 minutes from Chalupa Ria

The Orava Dam was built in 1954, at the expense of 5 villages, which were submerged as a result of the damming of the river. Today, the lake is used as a recreational area for water sports, such as boating, diving, water skiing, water biking, windsurfing and yachting.

Demanovska Cave of Liberty - Only 40 minutes from Chalupa Ria

The most visited show cave in Slovakia, the Demanovska Cave of Liberty, is also one of the most beautiful. Famous for its sinter waterfalls and stalemates, sphaerolithic stalactites and its many diverse forms of stalactites and stalagmites, the length of the show cave is 1,800 meters.

Demanovska Ice Cave - Only 35 minutes from Chalupa Ria

Situated in the Demanovska valley, the Ice Cave is 1,975 m long, although only 650 m of it are open to the public. Bones of various vertebrates, including cave bears (Ursus spelaeus), which were mistaken for dragon bones in the 18th century, have been discovered here.
